Delete Your Account
WildSoul respects your right to control your personal data. You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: In the App
- Open WildSoul and log in to your account
- Go to Settings (tap the gear icon)
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Confirm your decision when prompted
Option 2: Via Email
If you cannot access the app, send an email to privacy@wildsoul.app from the email address associated with your account with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Profile information — name, bio, theriotype, photos, and all profile data
- Photos and media — all uploaded images are removed from our servers and cloud storage
- Matches and conversations — all match history and chat messages
- Swipe history — all likes, passes, and discovery data
- Preferences and settings — filters, notification preferences, and app settings
- Push notification tokens — device tokens are removed
Data Retention After Deletion
Some data may be retained for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

Processing Time
- In-app deletion: Processed immediately. Your account becomes inaccessible right away. Data is purged from our systems within 30 days.
- Email requests: We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.
Before You Delete
- Cancel any active subscription in your device's app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) to avoid future charges. Deleting your WildSoul account does not automatically cancel store subscriptions.
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. You will not be able to recover your profile, matches, or conversations.
- If you'd like to export your data before deleting, you can request a data export through the app or by emailing privacy@wildsoul.app.
Selective Data Deletion
If you want to delete specific data without removing your entire account, you can:
- Delete individual photos from your profile in the app
- Request selective data deletion by emailing privacy@wildsoul.app
